Branding Bay is best known as a Belfast Shopify agency — and we also build and improve WooCommerce stores for Northern Ireland businesses that prefer WordPress. If you need a new WooCommerce site, a rebuild, or help with apps, payments and performance, we bring the same practical ecommerce approach we’ve used for 13+ years. Based at Donegall Square West, BT1 — hello@brandingbay.com / 028 9091 8969.
When WooCommerce vs Shopify
We’re Shopify-primary for most ecommerce projects — speed to launch, hosted reliability, and a strong app ecosystem. WooCommerce is often the better fit when you already live in WordPress, need deep custom PHP/plugin control, or have catalogue/integration requirements that sit more naturally on Woo. We’ll give a straight recommendation either way; we don’t push Shopify when Woo is clearly right (or the reverse).
What we deliver
- WooCommerce store design and build on WordPress
- Rebuilds and theme/performance tidy-ups for existing Woo sites
- Payments, shipping, tax and key plugin setup
- Practical UX for UK/ROI customers
- SEO-friendly structure and launch support
- Optional ongoing maintenance (same partnership style as our Shopify support)
How we work
Discovery → recommendation (Woo or Shopify) → design/build → integrations → launch → optional support. Local NI communication from our Belfast office; phone and email as standard.
