PAINTWORKS NI, FORMERLY KNOWN AS GP PAINTING, WAS FOUNDED IN NEWTOWNARDS, CO. DOWN.

They are a family run business with director Gerard Donaghy at the fore. In 2012, Gerard relocated to Christchurch, New Zealand, where he was employed by one of the most highly acclaimed painting and decorating companies on the South Island. It was here, in his role as a site foreman, that Gerard learned new, innovative painting techniques and mastered the art of airless spraying.

Returning to Northern Ireland, Gerard brought with him his vision of Paintworks NI, a new initiative in the painting and decorating industry.

With the business having celebrated their first birthday last month , it’s safe to say that Gerard has comfortably created a niche for himself in the industry, both locally and further afield.
